The Okuma Cold Water SS A Series Low Profile Line Counter Reels represent the next evolution in one of the most trusted trolling platforms on the water. Completely redesigned with stainless steel internals and enhanced durability, these reels are built to handle demanding conditions while delivering the precision anglers rely on.
At the core of the SS A Series is a full stainless steel gear system, including a stainless-steel main gear, precision machine-cut pinion gear, and drive and spool shafts. This upgraded construction provides unmatched strength, torque, and long-term reliability, perfect for targeting hard-fighting species and pulling heavy trolling setups.
The reel is housed in a rigid diecast aluminum frame and handle side plate (ALC construction), minimizing flex and keeping all internal components aligned under load. Combined with CRC (Corrosion Resistance Coating), the SS A Series is built to stand up to harsh freshwater and saltwater environments.
